Serrano, Wilkin and Son Tiptree, Fentimans, Frobishers, Areolives, Griottine Cherries, Truffles, Yorkshire Provender, Balsamic Vinegar, SunBlush Tomatoes
A range of Spanish meats that includes; whole salamis and whole chorizos for cutting, pre-packed sliced ham, salami and chorizo, and for grilling, casseroles and tapas chorizo sausages and chorizo rings.
Tiptree is perhaps best known for its extensive range of conserves and marmalades, but they also have a large savoury range, most of which is organic. It includes mustards, relishes and various chutneys. We also stock the Wilkin & Sons gold and silver gift packs in addition to our usual lines. All are ambient products with a good shelf life, generally more than 24 months.
Fentimans is the original adult soft drink. Botanically brewed, 100% traditional, 100% natural. The bottles have a twist off top. By returning to the roots of soft drink there is the opportunity to appreciate the fuller flavour that results from a brewing process which takes a full ten days.
Frobishers’ drinks are available as fruit juices or fruit smoothies. Both are 100% natural, with no artificial sweeteners, preservatives, colourings or fruit concentrates. They select only the finest fruit from around the world, before squeezing and bottling at to give a remarkable freshness and taste. The juices have a twelve month shelf life and the smoothies have a six month shelf life.
In addition to their pails, vac packs and pouched olives Areolives have just added a new retail jar range. The jars have 300g of olives or 280g of stuffed olives – Net drained weights. All of the jars with oil contain 250ml of cold press extra virgin olive oil, which makes an excellent dressing! They have a 12 month shelf life.
Griottine cherries in kirsch are packed with flavour. They are an excellent accoutrement to deserts, ideal as a topping for cheesecakes, or can be served with a little ice cream. The 1.7ltr jars have approximately 24 months shelf life.
Truffles can add that touch of something a little special or indulgent to a sauce or a dish. We stock a range of products including white and dark truffle oil, tartufi, truffle peelings and salsa truffina. They have a good shelf life although it varies from product to product.
Yorkshire Provender – Yorkshire Soup
These locally prepared soups are produced from seasonal ingredients, all from local farms. This commitment to freshness and quality has been the key factor behind the company’s nationwide success and has produced medals winning soups at the prestigious Guild of Fine Foods awards.
Balsamic Vinegar is placed into three age categories; 3-5 years maturation, 6-12 years and the highly prized old balsamic aged from 12-150 years. It is used neat or mixed with oil, used in salad dressings, marinades and sauces. NSF we stock several different varieties and sizes balsamic vinegars including white balsamic.
SunBlush Tomatoes are oven roasted and are then marinated in oil, oregano and garlic. They are perfect for eating straight from the tub, ideal for adding to salads and sandwiches, antipasti, pizza, canapés and breads. They add instant flavour and colour and the oil in which the tomatoes are stored makes a perfect dressing for salad.
